This mobile application (“App”) is developed for the members of the Varendara University Alumni Association (“Association”). The App is designed to help alumni connect, communicate, and participate in community activities organized by the Association.

To use this App, you must be:
• A registered alumnus/alumna of Varendara University, or
• An approved member recognized by the Alumni Association.

The Association reserves the right to verify user identity and membership.

3. User Accounts

Certain features require creating a user account. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information, secure your login credentials, and notify us in case of unauthorized access. The Association may suspend or terminate accounts for suspicious or unauthorized activity.

4. Use of the App

You agree not to use the App for:

• Posting false, misleading, harmful, or offensive content
• Harassing or threatening other members
• Collecting data without consent
• Illegal, fraudulent, or unethical activities

Violation may result in suspension or legal action.

5. Data Collection & Privacy

The App may collect your name, contact information, graduation details, profile data, and device usage information. This data is used for membership verification, communication, event updates, and improving the App. Your data will not be sold or shared with unauthorized third parties.

6. Communication

By using the App, you agree to receive notifications, announcements, event updates, and membership-related messages. You can manage notification settings from your device.

7. Content Ownership

All content and materials within the App belong to the Varendara University Alumni Association or its developers. Users may not copy or distribute content without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services such as analytics tools, cloud storage, and payment gateways (if applicable). These providers may have their own terms and privacy policies, which you agree to follow.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Association and developers are not responsible for inaccurate user-provided information, damages resulting from App usage, or unauthorized access due to user negligence. Use the App at your own discretion.

11. Account Termination

Your account may be suspended or terminated if you violate the rules, provide false information, or misuse the App. You may request account deletion at any time.
